Name of the book: The Butterfly Lion. Author: Michael Morpurgo Genre: Children's story Characters: Bertie, Millie, The White Prince. Setting: Timbavati in Africa, England, France. Summary: Michael runs away from boarding school and meets an old lady named Millie. She tells him about her husband Bertie, how he grew up in Africa. After some time he rescues a orphaned white lion cub. They grow up to together but after some time Bertie is sent away to a boarding school and the lion cub is sold to a circus. Bertie promises to find him again. Lesson: The lesson from the book is to never give up and believe in your self. Feelings: My feelings about this book are saddens, fear, happiness, joy and relief.
